Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Integration

Create API Client in Acronis

1. Log into your Acronis Cloud Console

2. Go to **Settings > API Clients**

3. Click **Create API Client**

4. Enter a name (e.g., "BrainstormMSP")

5. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret immediately (secret shown only once)

Note Your Data Center

Find your Acronis data center URL:

• US: us-cloud.acronis.com

• EU: eu-cloud.acronis.com

• Check your console URL for the correct region

Configure in BrainstormMSP

1. Go to **Settings > Integrations**

2. Click **Connect Acronis**

3. Enter your Data Center URL

4. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret

5. Click **Test Connection**

6. Click **Save and Sync**

Automatic Client Discovery

BrainstormMSP will:

• Import all tenant organizations from Acronis

• Map them to existing clients where names match

• Flag unmatched tenants for manual mapping

How Backup Evaluation Works

BrainstormMSP evaluates:

• **Backup Success** - Did the last backup complete?

• **Backup Currency** - Is the backup within policy timeframe?

• **Immutability** - Is ransomware protection enabled?

• **Recovery Testing** - Has restore been verified?

CIS Control Mapping

Acronis data maps to these CIS safeguards:

• CIS 11.2 - Perform automated backups

• CIS 11.3 - Protect recovery data

• CIS 11.4 - Establish and maintain isolated recovery data

• CIS 11.5 - Test backup recovery

Configure Backup Alerts

Set up notifications for backup issues:

1. Go to **Settings > Alerts**

2. Enable **Backup Failure Alert**

3. Configure recipients

4. Set severity thresholds:

- Warning: Backup older than 24 hours

- Critical: Backup older than 48 hours

Automated Remediation

Optionally enable auto-remediation:

• Create PSA ticket on failure

• Retry failed backups automatically

• Escalate persistent failures
